Sodium acetate is used to prevent or treat hyponatremia. For the patient's needs cannot be addressed by conventional electrolyte or nutrient solutions, it is also helpful as an addition when creating customised intravenous fluid formulas. This product also works as alkalinizing agents and can be used to treat metabolic acidosis or to alkalize urine. In addition to this, the said product functions as a source of sodium ions, particularly for people who are hyponatraemic. Sodium acetate regulates extracellular fluid volume. Our product also regulates fluid and electrolyte balance, osmotic pressure of bodily fluids, and water distribution.
